Cookies from frozen dough

In many bakeries today the most common form of ‘American style’ cookie is manufactured from a pre portioned frozen dough piece. Large manufacturers of cookies supply a wide range of ‘ready to bake’ dough pieces in many flavours and varieties which can be taken straight from the freezer, placed on a baking tray and baked.
